Any other fantasy films with the 'Wizard and Apprentice' theme?

There was a british mini series called "The Magician's House", which had bit of that theme. Anyone know any others?

It's a bit of a stretch, but "The Wizard of Oz" came to mind immediately.

I may be completely wrong, but Ladyhawke might be a similar theme, I seem to remember Matthew Broderick as the apprentice-type.
