God of War II for the PlayStation3

***Spoiler Ahead if you Haven't Played the Game***

In the PS3 game, God of War II, which is based on Greek mythology, one of the enemies you have to fight is Perseus. He's voiced by none other than Harry Hamlin and he wears Hades' helmet to make him invisible and wields the same shield you see in the movie. I thought it was a great cameo and a very cool nod to an awesome movie.

That sounds pretty cool. Thanks for posting that. I haven't played the game yet, but now I definitely want to check it out.

One of my favorite threads of all time is over at the remake's page where this, um, person... claims that the new CotT is *based on* the GoW games. I friggin love it. It's competing for my all-time favorite internet examples of stupidity.

But yes... it was indeed a very cool nod.

Very nice homage to this classic movie in that game.

Too bad that Harry Hamlin wasn't the main character in that game, instead he only shows up to be brutally killed off by Kraptos. The only good thing about the God of War videogames is the scenery. Everything else about the games seems like it was designed to piss-off fans of Greek mythology or classic fantasy films.
