They were pronouncing it "Zuice" like it rhymes with "Juice".

The correct pronunciation is "ZEE-us".

Can you post proof that it's actially supposed to be pronounced that way? I tried Google and only got "Zuice" (rhyming with Juice). I also have only ever heard it pronounced this way.

I've never heard anyone pronounce it Zee-us. Zuice is fairly standard. That doesn't mean it might not have been pronounced that way in ancient Greece. I'm ot a linguist.
