i dont have access to IFC. saw a clip on their website and the film looks awesome in widescreen . really. if any one records this. i would be glad to send you a blank dvd-r and 20$ let me know e-mail [email protected]

Well I didn't record the movie. I bought it at a site called http://fleshwoundvideo.com/ and the movie is in widescreen. I now know that the three words that were cut at the bottom where IFC. I hope that this helps you out.

shareIt seems to be a true widescreen of the movie. This was on IFC and it was on widescreen there. And that is what this dvd was from. I wish I had the monster hd here. I hope that this helps you.
shareNo it's not, its a true MATTED widescreen picture. Film was either shot open matte (in other words full frame) or IFC just matted the print they had aquired. Below is my newer topic on this as well as a comparison picture for you to see what I am talking about
