Agree! I love the soundtrack to this movie! I love the saxophone, always have.

Aside from the complete original score, the double CD also offers numerous instrumental variations of the smoking, sensuous main theme. Each of those tracks features a different main instrument. If you love the main title theme from BODY HEAT, you'll love the various John Barry variations, which are released here for the first time ever.

Literally, about 3 seconds after the credits started, I knew I wanted the soundtrack. EVERY movie has a soundtrack. I think there was a soundtrack for Das Boot.

So I went out the next day to the music store - when there were such things in 1982 - and no soundtrack. I looked every week for months and realized there was none. I was no disappointed!

Then in like 1995, I went to Amazon to buy the DVD and accidently found a soundtrack. Apparently, Body Heat was somewhat of a cult film and others were equally disappointed, so someone did a soundtrack 13 years later. I have it in my car all the time.
