In her twisted way
...Maybe she did love Ned. I mean, she was willing to use him and kill him, dont get me wrong. But I think I read an analysis by Roger Ebert that sort of implies at the end, she's bored out of her mind. She seems totally uninterested in the guy with her. She doesnt even look at him. She's got that faraway look, like, "Well, here I am, rich and anonymous in a tropical paradise. Yawn. That thing I had with Ned, thats the best I ever had it." I definitely think that's part of the message of the final scene.
