Miranda beach...., east coast or west coast?

Looks like east coast with the "ocean breezes" remark , but I'm on vacation in Sarasota on the west coast, and it really reminded me of Body Heat.l

The east coast of FLORIDA is the Atlantic ocean side.

The west coast of FLORIDA is the Gulf of Mexico side.

Now you can go back to the pub.

Fair enough question.
People are arguing like 8 year olds here.
I'd say East Coast, maybe near St Augustine or JAX.
I got involved with some lawyers there a few years ago and things are just as toxic
there vis-a-vis cops and lawyers as Body Heat 1981.

Old Lake Worth, FL is the downtown locale where he has his office, goes to the diner etc.
