This is probably one of the best 80s slashers.

It started off kind of slow but the suspense was really great.

Really? There's so many that are better!!

reply

Theres many that are better, but this one was solid imo :)

I wouldn't say it was one of the best but it is still highly enjoyable and I also think it's a better killer kids movie than Children of the Corn.

^Agreed. The COTC series is just a pile of fail.

I don't know or care what anyone else thinks, but it's certainly my favorite slasher movie of the 1980s. It is also my favorite killer kid movie. It is just so much fun to watch. The characters are interesting and likable, the acting is great, and the story is creative.

I just got the blu-ray. I don't remember seeing this one in the 80's so I'm looking forward to watching it soon on blu.

I usually don't like these type of movies but this one is entertaining, those kids are really not nice

reply

I saw this last night on TCM. It was okay. I still have a hard time believing these kids could just kill indiscriminately without anyone noticing or being able to stop them.

The movie explains that the three kids were "born under a bad sign" and so lacked the conscience that normal people have. Others didn't notice because, after all, they're only 10 year-old kids.

It's awesome. Though there are so, so many great slashers from the 80s. 1981 in particular. Hard to pick just one.

reply

It's not right.
