They should definitely bring this movie back with the kids grown up

Out of all the meaningless sequels and reboots we have in this genre why in the hell this Bloody Birthday not receive a follow up? I know this movie was low-budget so probably didn't have the funds to make a sequel.

Bloody Birthday to me should've been way more exposed and popular than it was. The movie actually had a decent storyline to it where it could do at least two sequels. I think this movie was a victim of the crowded slasher era of the early 80s, their were way too many of these kind of movies coming out around that time. Had this movie came out a few years before or towards the end of the decade like Chucky did it would've stuck out a lot more. There was a lot of slashers that were better than Halloween or Friday the 13th but were cheaper and overlooked. The girl who played Debbie was in this movie called X-Ray also and I thought that movie was done much more better than Halloween II which was in that same hospital setting.

This movie should've been a much bigger cult classic like Sleepaway Camp.

Since all three of the little bastards survived it would've been cool to see the sequel feature them as teenagers or young adults doing their thing. Then the follow up to that was when they were much older still out there killing then finally dying to end the series.
