Bet 20 bucks the government would ban this movie if it was made in 2014

So much backlash and *beep* about school shootings have already stopped enough epic shows from releasing its full material. I am sure someone would have a cry baby fit if this movie was made in 2013 or 2014.

I can see the PC police having a big problem with the scene featuring the boys watching Beverly strip through the peephole. Even if the kids didn't actually see it and the scenes were filled separately, just the idea would make a lot of people angry.

Burn, witch! Burn, witch! Burn! Burn! Burn!

As this film was not made in 2014, how would you go about proving it?

The government can't legally ban a film, for it is a violation of The First Amendment. Taking people's right to watch a movie away would be unconstitutional.

I want that $20. As that would not happen. People would complain. PC freaks would freak out. Etc. But the government would not ban the movie. The most that can happen is it would get an NC-17 rating from the MPAA and some theaters might refuse to show it. But nope... no government ban.

I was thinking the same thing; this movie was outrageously wrong in so many ways. I was surprised at how sleazy the production was; but it shouldn't be a shock, considering that it was just outside of the 70's when it was made. They could never get away with this stuff today..
