Sad that Michael Conrad died. But why did they kill off Howard Hunter? The last episode I saw he committed suicide. They didn't actually show the actual second of it because they started the credits and you heard the bang. I am waiting for the next episode, but I thought he was a good character. Maybe a bit cliche.
shareSomewhere around season three or four H.Hunter tried to shoot himself and he said "I love you Mom" before the screen went black---and then you heard a shot. Next episode you see him with a patch on the side of his head from a gun's powder burn. He talks to LaRue and guessed that JD put blanks in his gun when Hunter was in the locker rm shower the night before. Hunter was pissed at JD and JD says "Let me get this straight---you're mad at me for saving your life". Great twist, in my opinion.Chalk up a major point for LaRue---he was generally so sleazy---but a very interesting character.
