Ron Lipsky
I did not watch the show back in the day but am a big Chris Noth fan. Could anyone tell me what his character did? Is there a reason he didn't last long and what was his season? Thank you.

shareChris Noth played a uniformed officer. His big scene was with a potential suicide victim. You know how people try to use reverse psychology and sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't? In this case it didn't and the person committed suicide.
shareThat's amazing - I'm working my way through the DVDs and this was the episode I watched yesterday, referenced here in the very last post on page five of the Board!
As usual on HSB, when a new arrival is introduced at Roll Call, you know there's a good chance either they're going to be a wrong 'un and get found out by our heroes within an episode or two, or some disaster will befall them. The latter was the case with Ron, his faux pas unfortunately coming when Lt Goldblume was on the warpath (due to feeling guilty about coming into money from a property deal) - Goldblume disciplined Ron, somewhat heavy-handedly. What I liked about the episode was that Ron's junior partner spoke up for him, fronting up to Goldblume and demanding to know what took HIM so long getting there (he was on the phone, sorting out his money matters!)
Goldblume was good enough to apologise - and the fact that a man plummeted to his doom because (possibly) Goldblume was goldbricking on company time was swiftly forgotten!
