Which Season is the best?

I never saw the show before buying the first Season on DVD. Good stuff. I would like to know if the following Seasons are gonna get even better.
Is there gonna be more action? better writing? more humour?

Season 4 is the best...hands down!!! Check Youtube as every episode after season 1 is up. Consult an episode guide and look up the titles in Yotube search to watch in order

I would have to review each season, but season 2,3 and 4 were tops. I liked Markie post a lot and she was in those three seasons. I still like all five seasons. It was the most fun show of the 80's.
