I vaguely remember a scene where Colt and Howie are running from or chasing after someone and they suddenly run into this character from another series (I think it was Magnum but I'm not sure) and I was surprised to see this but also very thrilled.
Is there such an episode and if so which one ?
The episode was "License to Kill Part Two" from season one and will be released soon in June on DVD. Part one had a cameo by Lou Ferrigno in full Hulk makeup. These appearances are called cameos, not crossovers.
There was an actual crossover epiosde at the beginning of season three. "The Fall Guy" episode "Trauma" was concluded the next night on the spinoff series "Trauma Center" in Sept. 1983.
Well, I know there is an episode where Colt and Howie meet Thomas Magnum !
I think it's the episode where they are dressed as nurses at some time.
A shot of this episode can be seen in the credits, when then jump in the water from a low bridge !

It was just Tom Selleck as himself, not actually as Thomas Magnum unfortunately, but makes sense for him not to be in character.

I remember a Simon & Simon crossover with Magnum. But they played S&S as goofs compared to the detective abilities of Magnum.

I remember there was a thing in the late 80s? They had like a series of shows on NBC and in one night they all crossed over into one another? I want to say like.. Golden Girls, Empty Nest and Nurses (the Loni Anderson one). Didn't really watch those shows but I remember the gimmick advertising at the time.
I've heard something about that, but I don't know who was going from what to where. Any help would be appreciated.

I know NBC did something like that in the 90s. Characters from "Caroline in the City" appeared on "Friends."

Fall Guy was on ABC... there may have been some Production company overlap, but rarely if Ever do TV show Cross Overs cut across Networks because they don't want to advertise the competition -- you may recall the Hoops Whedon had to leap through in getting Buffy Cast members to appear on Angel after Buffy Moved to UPN from WB (and these were companies who eventually Merged only a few years later)
The thing about Fall Guy is that being set in Hollywood, and with Colt's 'day job' In the Industry they frequently had Cameos and guest stars almost exclusively of Actors Playing themselves (watching the first 4 episodes on Hulu I've seen James Coburn and Robert Wagner as people Colt has helped with Stunts, and Milton Berle as a Celebrity they meet on a case.
IIRC Coburn was implied to be for an unknown film; on the other hand Robert Wagner's Cameo explicitly mentioned Hart to Hart (no clue if the stunt in Question was Used on Hart to Hart, but like a good 'Chekov's gun' it did appear later in the same Fall Guy Episode)
