Opening Titles - sources of stunts?

Is there a list somewhere of which movies or TV shows each stunt from the opening titles was originally from? I've read on the forum that the helicopter skid gag was from one of the Fall Guy episodes but what about the rest?

So far, I'm aware the car into the back of the truck is (I think) from The French Connection and the fall onto the mattress shown from above is from The Poseidon Adventure. the car crashing into the train is from Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.

The two guys jumping into the water could be from a Western, perhaps Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? I would assume that the less grainy stunts are specially shot for the show (episodes or credits only) or a are stock shots for that purpose, while the grainier images are from movies (shot on flim stock of course).

The two guys jumping into the water from the cliff, is definitely Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. There's also two guys jumping off a bridge which is from an episode of The Fall Guy - I don't think the helicopter scene is from the show though as it seems to epic in scope to me - I'm gonna do some research and find out though.

Ok - after a bit of research I've found out that the helicopter stunt is from The Sky Riders (1976) starring James Coburn, and apparantly - that's James Coburn doing the stunt! Which I think is incredible if its true.

the truck doing the jump is from an ep that I saw the other day. They are chasing someone from a county club and they take a short cut

I'm pretty sure that the bit with the guy jumping from the train to the overhanging light or whatever it is is from "The Silver Streak"

Yep rich-langer-1 that is indeed from Silver Streak.

Cheers for the info guys......I've been wondering where the clips came from for almost 25 years!

The car that drives into the back of the truck is from "The Hot Rock".

The yellow car getting hit by the train and blowing up is from Dirty Mary Crazy Larry. The car that loses its top under the truck was used in Smokey Bites The Dust (not sure if that's the only movie that uses that scene).

Yeah, from Silver Streak. Was that scene actually used for a Fall Guy episode?

Can't vouch for it actually being Coburn but the various hang-gliding clips in the titles are from that film also.

I can positively confirm a few already mentioned here;

The fall onto the glass ceiling/mattress shown from above (actually below, since the ship is upside down at this point LOL) is from The Poseidon Adventure.

The Yellow Charger crashing into the train is from the end Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.

The two guys jumping into the water from the cliff is from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

The guy jumping from the train to the overhanging light is from Silver Streak.

The car that loses its top under the truck is from Smokey Bites The Dust.

The two guys jumping off a bridge (in nurses uniforms) is from an episode of The Fall Guy.

I think the shot of the 2 guys being washed down the river is from Deliverance?

Thanks to everybody who has either filled in or confirmed most of the clips for me :-)

The multiple car roll over that's seen from two angles is an Oldsmobile from 'Race With The Devil'

The white Dodge Charger that slides hard backwards into the wall is (I think) from 'Speedway' or a similar Elvis Presley car movie.

People should spend more time watching movies and less time bitching about IMDB spoilers.

Anyone know what film the guy climbing onto the helicopter is from ? - when it's flying past some mountains? - and who the actual stuntman was?

Thanks.
