I hated Kristle, who was distant and arrogant. She also wore furs as a status symbol. I always wanted Alexis to beat Kristle's saggy ass in a fight, but some obscure PETA woman kicking Kristle's butt would have been fine. Maybe yank her out of the luxury car, whoop her ass and throw Mink's blood on her?
Yeah, I like Linda Evans in real-life enough. She seems a nice person (I ain't gonna comment on her cosmetic surgery... π€), but we were all *supposed* to root for Kristle because she was blonde and pretty, and looked like butter-wouldn't-melt, and because she was a Cinderella-like-secretary who did and said nothing, and waited to be whisked away by a rich man just for smiling insipidly, rather than showing any sass or strength-of-character. And yet, like you simply, she was a fur-wearing parasite. Plus, she was physically bigger and stronger than Alexis (she was this tall, tanned, even muscular, borderline Amazonian, blonde 'Aryan' woman), so it would have been more satisfying to see the smaller, slighter Alexis best her in a fight.
Man, that was an articulate response. Thanks. I agree! I hated Kristle's perfect, beautiful and regal ass so much. She was like a perfect goddess who had descended down from heaven. I wish Alexis had done more than best Kristle. I wish she had beat Kristle's ass in front of all of Kristle's doting admirers, wedgied her and spanked her. Finally, maybe Alexis could have dragged the whimpering, fur-wearing Kristle to a second floor window and thrown her face first into a trashcan. Perfect ending!
I guess I don't understand your derision for Krystal wearing furs? Didn't Alexis wear plenty of fur? And Dominique Devereaux, for that matter? I think it was just coming to the public's consciousness that raising animals (in particular minks) for their fur was cruel. So I don't think Krystal, Alexis, Dominique, Fallon, etc., could be blamed any more so than say, my own mother in the '80's. A fur coat was a very popular gift to the special lady in your life if you were well-heeled enough in the 1980's.
