Is the version of 'Fires in the Fall' uncut? I have an uncut version I taped off UK Gold way back in 1997/98 pre-digital so the picture quality is not the best. A decent copy of the uncut version would be the only reason I would buy the DVD. I am assuming What Dreams May Come? is the edited version that appears on UK Drama.

shareFires in the Fall TERRIFIED me and I would love to see it again. I recorded it from UK Drama recently, but have not watched it yet in case it is edited. Other Bergerac episodes have been edited. (I saw one where someone was thrown out of a window, and a whole chunk of the scene was obviously missing). I would hate to see a prime bit of scary telly in its incomplete format. I remember someone trapped in a burning car, which would be a logical cut to make for daytime TV. I should think the DVD would be uncut, though. That's the point of DVD, after all ...
shareThere are, unfortunately, some cuts in the DVD versions; I'm not sure if there are any in Fires in the Fall, but the burning person in car scene is certainly still in. Excellent episode!
