Remake it

Of all the movies that are being remade today, this movie deserves an upgrade (maybe an upgrade in special effects and an addition of a few new younger 'fodder' characters).

I have fond memories of this movie as the acting, while purposefully over the top, helps draw you into the story. And Tarah Nutter was pretty hot too (I was a young teenager when I saw this).

They did remake it. It was called Predator. Predator was a total ripoff of this movie.

This film doesn't need a remake; it's fine the way it is.

Ditto, Woody! I just ordered the new Blu-Ray/DVD release today. It's been a 20 year wait for a decent transfer since I first saw it on late nite TV in 1994. This is the film that led me into the wild wonderful world of vintage/low Budget/sci-fi/horror etc. and gave me my sense of appreciation for such fun films.

Same here. I just ordered the Shout! Factory DVD/Blu-ray release off of Amazon.

I bought my copy on Sunday and have already given director Greydon Clarks' commentary a listen & checked out one of the interview featurettes.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

I am from England so I don't think I will have the luxury of buying this. Who are the interviews with? What did they have to say? Cheers

I'm sure you could buy it on Amazon, eBay UK or ebay.com easily. You could just join to get it, it'd be more than worth it! Later on when stocks run out, it may be prohibitively expensive due to its cult status. Also, many of the sites that sell DVD's should be able to ship to England, albeit at a higher cost if it's coming from North America.

Cheers pal. Would it be compatible though with my DVD player
