"i think this belongs to you"

a bit of twilight zone "will the real martian please stand up" feeling, especially when the lights go off at the cafe, or perhaps the fact that there are atleast two actors from the twilight zone series in this movie helped to bring that vibe on. palance interacting along the hippie with the "hey man" talk for example, was a way too big of a contrast. i liked the music score.

blue rain blue rain,
a cold wind through the trees today,
no fish will bait, the birds won't sing,
in a land without a king,
under a blanket of stars,
gonna pick some songs as the night fall,
after a long lonesome day,
no one to lead the battles astray,
since our king went away,
in blue rain blue rain.

This was filmed in 1979 so it was well within the bounds of the 1970's when that kind of talking style was still common. Unless you meant it was a contrast with dialog in the Twilight Zone series, which it would have been in that case.

Definitely one of the best sci-fi scores of the 70's era! It was composed by Dan Wyman, who also worked on the early Halloween movies IIRC. He is a music professor in the US and probably retired by now.
