Excellent! I want mine.

I just ordered the Shout! Factory release off the Internet from Movie Mars for about twenty-four bucks. I'm overjoyed that this film has finally received an official Region 1 release on both DVD and Blu-ray.

You'll enjoy it. I received mine from Amazon and immediately popped it in. Looks and sounds great. The lack of extras, is the only disappointment. The interviews and commentary are pretty good.

Just ordered mine from Amazon too. I've been waiting 20 years for a decent copy, thought my ragged old TV-taped VHS copy isn't bad, with more vivid color and detail than any of the DVD-R releases!

I bought my copy on Sunday. I've already checked out the directors' commentary and enjoyed it.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

reply

The lead actress looks the same, only older and grey. The lead actor? Man, looks like a totally different person. Not a bad looking guy, but looks NOTHING like he does in his movies.

I just got a copy on Ebay for about $5 less thann amazon. I have a feeling that this set is going to sell out fast. It seems to that it's a very wanted item. All the ebay auctions have many bids, and the Buy-It-Now offers now tell you how many copies that seller has sold. The high numbers were surprising for such a relatively unknown movie.

I already have a 720P rip from when MGM-HD broadcast it a couple years ago. I just wanted the commentary on it. I hope it's a good commentary, and not boring.

Not impressed with the blu-ray. Picture quality looks like a dvd.

Very misleading. It is suppose to be available in Canada and usa. But what they really mean is only available from Shout factory's catalog. If not enough dvd,blu-rays are sold it will be discontinued fast. I hope not.

Blu-ray looks like dvd.

is there a commentary like they said there would be
?

reply

There is plenty of commentary from director Greydon Clark and also an interview with actor Christopher S. Nelson, who played Greg!

available from Shout factory's catalog.

My copy has "Scream Factory" more prominently on the packaging text. Looks like it is one of the sub-brands of Shout! Factory / MGM.

"The sport is in the trackin' an' the huntin'..."
