Without Warning on MGMHD

if you get the MGM channel (all 8 of us), Without Warning is coming up at the end of January. January 30 2:00am. personally I'm very excited, I haven't seen this since I was a kid. I remember almost nothing about it except the weird killer throwing stars and that on some level it scared me. I'm half considering not watching it so I don't screw up the memory.

so I ask you, random .oooo1% of the population, because I mean honestly why are you here? how many people in the world coud actually be checking the Without Warning message board? you must have seen it, have you seen it recently? so I ask you, should I watch it?

I thank you, because I'm sure there's only going to one of you who replies, but really thank you

I first saw Without Warning about twenty years ago, and had fond memories of it. I recently bought the German Region 2 DVD (it plays in English) and watched it about a week ago. My thoughts: it's quite amateurish at the beginning, with some clumsy editing, dubbing (when the scout troupe run away, they're clearly not making the screaming noise on the soundtrack), and some dodgy acting. But the movie actually improves as it goes along, and the last half-hour is very good indeed. Martin Landhu and Jack Palance both attack their roles with undisguised relish (Palance is clearly enjoying himself immensely), but it's Tarah Nutter who steals the show. She's a first-rate Final Girl who looks stunning and is totally convincing when required to act as though she's scared out of her wits.
Final verdict: Without Warning is a solid, entertaining B movie, worth watching.

I saw this as a kid in the Summer late at night when it first ran on HBO. l loved it. I could never figure out why it never had a home video release in the USA. I am glad Shout Factory herd the voices of the fans and released a great Blu-Ray. It had everything you could want.

I would never want a remake of this film. A sequel would be interesting. It's 35 years later. The creature has returned. (Okay New Creature since they killed it in the first one)

Hope you watched it and enjoyed it. I still have a TV-taped copy from a 1994 broadcast that has better colour than my unofficial-release DVD copy.

What's up my fellow horror fan. I understand your comment, thoughts. I'm 46 yrs. & my 24 yr. old daughter loves horror. I know the obscure like: Galaxy of Terror, Parasite, The Beast Within, Humanoids from the Deep. Hey, who remembers Snowbeast, I was a teenage Werewolf! Etc. I know at least 50 other killer horror movies. The Funhouse, The Thing is probably my favorite of all time! I can go on with many more. Bye.

I do! I have the DVD. I like all those movies you mention, too.

a great reference to Martin Landau (Rounders) and his pairing with Jack Palance is so worth watching this cult classic - watch this, then get a 12 pack and watch Strange Brew
