What's funnier than Used Cars?
I honestly can't think of ONE single movie ever that is funnier than Used Cars. I love this movie!

Uncle Buck is slightly funnier than Used Cars and I love both movies.

"Used Cars" is one my all-time favorite comedies, but I have no problem putting "Blazing Saddles" and "Caddyshack" in the same league -- all three go to 11 on the laugh-o-meter. "Uncle Buck"? Not so much.

Used Cars is one of the funniest, if not the funniest I've ever seen, one that comes close for me is Young Frankenstein. Blues Brothers too.

I'd have to agree. These movies are all in the same league and 40 Year Old Virgin is one of my newest favorites. USED CARS is still my king, though.

The fact that this movie stars Michael McKean, and that a post in this topic refers to being "an 11 on the scale", brings to mind Spinal Tap, certainly a picture worthy of including in this list of quality and hilarious comedy movies!
shareI LOVE Used Cars, but i can name a few better comedies.... i would only submit titles from the era (late 70's early 80's) that have that USA character to it as a fair comparison.

I've been spending the morning looking at all of KRs movies: Backdraft...Overboard...Captain Ron...a few others...
And this has to be the best work that Hurt Russell EVER did....say what you want about the others...but, the comedic timing...the way he hits his lines...everything about his acting ability in this movie..was par excellance!
and Gerritt Graham played a great part too...he played off of Russell Very well...and Russell played off of him too...very well.

saw tiger lily a couple years ago seemed quite lame
