Concert Scene Remind of MTV

Was anyone else reminded of when MTV moved to Times Square some years ago? They filmed TRL and other shows in a studio that overlooked the street. Often the teenyboppers would dress like their music idols and scream outside the window.

During the Damn Dog concert scene with Nicky playing on the roof, it reminded me of MTV. It was so punk for the fans to wear garbage bag vests and makeup masks. Sticking it to capitalism by not going out and buying specific junk just for the concert.

I wonder if any MTV people had a lightbulb go on when they saw the concert scenes with crowds of fans standing in the street while looking up to watch a band play.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
