Anybody knows where one can find a soundtrack to this great movie?

I love this movie. Loved it since I saw it for the first time. Everything in this movie is as close to perfection as it can be in the film. This movie should enjoy the box office records and swim in all kinds of awards and nominations(IMHO). Why it isn't so - is a mystery to me... One of my favorite parts in this movie - music. I've been trying to find the soundtrack to the "Stunt Man" for years, or at least names of the performers... I would really appreciate somebody's feedback on this.

I wish you luck on that, the vinyl LP (and presumably cassette tape) is a rare item, and it has never yet been released on CD. Your best bet is to keep checking any stores in your city that still carry used records, check auction sites online, and keep watching sites that deal in old soundtrack albums. Er - assuming you have a record player, that is!

Music by Dominic Frontiere, song "Bits & Pieces" sung by Dusty Springfield, the album was released in 1980 on the 20th Century Fox Records label, production # T-626. The copyright info on the back of the sleeve reads "Also available on 20th century Fox tape".

Side 1
1 Film Caravan 3:52
2 The Chase :48
3 Bits & Pieces 3:38
4: Southern Belle 1:43
5: The Stunt Man - End Title 1:43

Side 2
1 Bedroom Horns 2:36
2 Training 2:20
3 The Stunt Man - Main Theme 2:57
4 Crane 2:14
5 The Stunt Man - Main Title 3:12

Produced by Dominic Frontiere
Music Composed by Dominic Frontiere
Lyrics to "Bits & Pieces" by Norman Grimbel

Sorry I couldn't give you a lead on actually getting it, but I hope the info helps your search.
