The makeing of doc on the 2 disk special edition.

Is it me or was this makeing of weird and cheesy. They tried to hard on the doc and it made me laugh a lot. It was good on the info of the movie but the whole damn thing felt very weird. The whole stuntman cheeseburger thing was funny and stupid. "Is that a stunt man burger?,Mmmmm, i would love a bit of that stunt man burger" HAHAHAHAHA!

Yeah, I wish he didn't use all those lame visual effects during in the start but once you get past that stuff, I really found the whole story behind the story quite interesting.

Especially the whole part about that one film executive and his effort to make sure The Stunt Man failed at the Box Office.

I thought the special effects in the making of were a little cheesy, yeah. And distracting. I understand he didn't want it to be a typical "making of", but...
I got kinda tired of it. But it's SO worth sitting through, to hear to what Rush says and also the interviews with the cast. Especially O'Toole, who I could probably watch peel an orange and be enthralled.... :)

The documentary was similar in style to "Color ofNight", "Stuntman", etc which made sense cuz Rush is the director. & it was a shoestring budget so I didn't mind so much the cheapo FX. But the story of how this film was made & the obstacles faced in getting this masterpiece on the big screen was fascinating...a worthy testament to Richard Rush.
