so i loved this movie, but i didn't quite understand the different scanner factions.

the obviously explained factions were revok's group, and then lack was part of the wiped out consec faction, but what was the motivation behind kim's group?

were they indifferent to revok and consec, against/for revok?

My take on it was that they wanted to "live and let live", rather than choose one side over the other.

The devil you know is less scary than the saint you don't-which is a bit of a shame really...

Kims group wanted to be left alone and they supported each other in that commune.
