Driving me crazy...

If anyone can help me with this, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking for a movie that starts off being about Hollywood producers "scanning" actors into a supercomputer so that the actors aren't needed anymore (and are killed, I think). As the lead character starts finding out what's going on, they use a device on him that has this huge FLASH, then he can't remember anything for awhile (like in "Men In Black"). I remember that the title was a one or two word title, but then I go blank. (I wonder if I've been Flashed?)

I saw it about the same time that I saw "Scanners", so it's an even bet that it came out about the same time...

It's LOOKER! One of my favorite movies. It stars Albert Finney and Susan Dey, and it was directed by Michael Crichton from his own concept. I think it's from 1981.

Looker.

Joss Wheadon! Sleeping in the parking lot for a year doesn't count as an Oscar win for "Toy Story!

Looker. I love that movie!

Yep - LOOKER - check out the realness of the stunt where the chick falls on the car. One of the best ever.
