a Remake
i am not by any means fond of what Hollywood does with their remakes. but i believe that the right director on board an updated version of this film would be amazing. if they kept the plot and just beefed up some of the technical dialogue making it appropriate for our time, if it was to be set in this gen which im sure it would, i would be more than excited to see it. i can almost see a trailer in my mind right now. but they HAVE to keep practical effects, NO CGI. the head exploding scene is still perfect to this day.
