An epitome of how to make a superficial movie from a book
I knew they'd have to cut the book horribly to make its film version so short, but it was far worse than ever I imagined, proving the incalculable superiority of the printed page. This was my first encountering of the wonderful late dear Richard Jordan I was previously never blessed & privileged to see. It's hard to fathom how so many of this film's actors are no longer with us.
