Been on tv in the UK? Not satellite tv just ordinary tv.I saw this film many years ago but never on tv.

I don't know about the UK, but it is very rarely shown on TV in the US. I guess there is no time for TV to air a good drama when there are so many sophomoric comedies to be shown.

It was certainly on UK tv in the early 80s as that's how I first saw it;
I think it was first shown on BBC2 around 1984
