Richard and Stanley

Were the two bikers Richard and Staney gay? Because when Stanley removed his sunglasses he wore mascara and kissed Cutshaw.

reply

It was a gay bar.

reply

it wasn't a gay bar,it was a biker bar.

reply

..So bikers aren't allowed to be gay?

reply

I think they were using the kissing and implied oral rape/urinating in the face to intimidate Kane and Cutshaw. When I was at school bullys kissed and licked my face thinking it would frighten me in the same way.

reply

Because at first they were just laughing and mocking Cutshaw. Then they started getting sexually abusive, Stanley kissing Cutshaw and Richard forcing Cutshaw to have oral sex with him. I believe they would have gone as far as anal rape! Also what was with the mascara Stanley was wearing?

I think gay was the wrong word, bisexual should have been the right word. Because I remember they touched a waitress up and the brunette in the gang , the bikers's moll was Stanley's girlfriend when he snatched the cigarette from her and told her not to smoke because he was jealous that she said she found Cutshaw cute.

The irony is in the film No Mercy Man/Trained to kill, Steve Sandor takes on a biker gang. You'd have thought he'd have played Kane.

reply

As gay or bisexual as these bikers may have been, I think the overall point was to show how evil and disgusting they and mankind can be. One question, is this the best scene in the movie, does it make the movie, I am gonna think about that one for a little bit.

reply

I agree with Risky. I think there is a bisexual element to these bikers which has less to do with love and/or affection and more to do with violence. Stanley and Richard obviously are lovers but not exclusively, a cause for jealousy during the bar fight. Kane and Cutshaw find themselves in the middle of that, and that leads to...

reply

I would agree with both of you because I thought so.

There was anal rape.It was in a different version(probably a much more obscure version). It was also on camera.
