Where Can I Get the 140-minute Version?
I know that William Peter Blatty "disowned" it, but I would really like to see the 140-minute version. Does anybody know if it is available - as a bootleg, maybe?

shareThis is something I would like to know very much as well. I recently saw The Ninth Configuration for the first time a few days ago and this movie has really sparked my interest. I was unaware of alternate versions of the film until browsing IMDB's forums. Please, if anybody has a copy or any more information on the subject of this great film let us know.
shareI DON'T KNOW! When I saw this movie it was titled "Twinkle Twinkle Killer Kane" and it had MANY scenes in it that are NOT in the one I bought, which is titled "The Ninth Configuration." When I saw the movie, there were only 2 other cars at the drive-in! (I thought it was 1979 or 80) everyone else had left after the showcase movie. NO ONE I know has seen or even HEARD of the movie. I remember vividly some of the other scenes, and would LOVE to get this original release. Seeing the Ninth Configuration just isn't the same movie wihout those scenes. It isn't the same movie at all! If anyone knows whwer to get a copy of the original "Twinkle Twinkle Killer Kane", I sure would like to know where to buy it. Thanks and hope to hear from someone about this (Highly Unlikely!)

140 minutes..?! That's a lot of *beep* minutes. Are you sure you don't mean 114 minutes instead?
I'm not a control freak, I just like things my way
