I was lucky enough to see this film yesterday, and I loved it. Although, I wish I had viewed it in high school, because his opinion on Hamlet's madness is exactly my view as well...he put into words all of my thoughts. I loved it, did anyone else appreciate this scene?
What really makes the scene work for me is that during all that long exposition, I am trying to keep up with his madness theory while trying to think about it in relationship to Hamlet, Kane and Reno (in parallel), when victoriously and abruptly - Reno turns on the dog to make a directorial point about character motivation.
Just Brilliant.
