is great in this film. i was a big fan of his work in john huston's "fat city" but i can't decide which is a better performance.

shareKeach was also good in "Luther" and "Road Games." It's too bad his career has gone steadily downhill since the early 80's. I can't think of any decent film that he's been in since that time.
shareIf you ever get a chance to see a show called "Titus" he's hysterical as the father in it.
"A mechanic, Christopher Titus, along with his brother and his friends, try to deal with his father, a lewd, crude, drinking multiple divorcee."

Yes, Keach was awesome in 'Titus.' While I wasn't a fan of the show, I thought Keach was tremendous and would certainly win an Emmy and have a career resurgence. Unfortunately, I was wrong. His performance in 'Titus' was so good that I sometimes wonder if people within the business or the media had something against him. since I've seen lesser performances get better kudos. Maybe he just needed better PR people.
shareYep Keach was amazing in this film and what a little gem of a moie this is! Killer Kane what a name!
shareHard to decide between Mike Hammer and Titus.
Stacy Keach is a friggin great actor.
Haven't seen Titus yet, but Road Games is f-ing awesome.
"Confess quickly! If you hold out too long you could jeopardize your credit rating."
As far as his more recent work is concerned, Keach was also pretty good as the neo-nazi leader in AMERICAN HISTORY X. Other than that, it has been basically B-flicks and made for TV movies of the week for Stacy.
shareAnother one i forgot is Tesla: Master of Lightning. Stacy Keach does an incredible narration in that one, as both himself and Nikola Tesla.
Who would of thought it, but Keach can sound just like a Serb, or at least what one may assume a Serb sounds like.

Stacy Keach is an amazing actor -- at times both scary and sensitive in the same scene. I think a lot of actors would run for cover after being offered a role like this, but to our credit, Stacy was tough enough to take it -- and dish it.
