People seem to love it--there used to be multiple threads on this board about the song many years ago but it looks like this whole board was wiped out not long ago...

Yes, and a very kind poster was able to provide a free link to the song for all of us. Guess that pissed a few people off.

It's pretty generic disco but I kinda like it for the nostalgia factor.

Whoever made the trailer liked it enough to feature it very heavily. I found it bizarre because it's a song completely against the tone of the rest of the film and fits a lot worse than the disco song "Do it to Me Once More" in HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK.

However, the stupid song DID find its way to worm its way into my subconcious. Ever since, whenever I find myself stuck in a traffic jam and my Google Maps voice says "There's a slowdown up ahead", I catch myself singing, "Goin' to a SLOW-down.".
