TMC-The Movie Channel airing it this June 2010. . .

They showed it today, twice. I was all intent on making a dvd recording but at the last second, the machine wimped out and I had to tape in on vhs. I missed the great opening with KM standing by the quilt and her whole kicking the guy in the nuts thing--crap! Anyway, if anyone wants to record it it will air two more times this month--Tues. June 15th at 6:05pm and Sunday June 20th at 3:15pm.

Yep, I watched a bit of it earlier tonight. SHOWTIME and TMC, which I guess are owned by the same company, had also recently been showing "Foxes" with Jodie Foster, a film which also came out about the same time and featured an all-female main cast. I always used to get these two films mixed up because of those reasons, and also because there is a movie from 1941 entitled "The Little Foxes". So you have "Little Darlings", "Foxes", and then "The Little Foxes", the titles becoming all jumbled in my brain despite the fact that I never saw "The Little Foxes" but rather only heard the name.

I always try to catch these movies from my youth, if only to see how well they stand up. I thought "Foxes" was a little pointless, but seeing fashions and hearing music from the late 70s, early 80s is always quite fun.

lol! Yeah, recently I'm all into seeing 70's and 80's movies that I never saw growing up. I watched "Foxes" last month but didn't see the ending. It's very nostalgic and makes me feel like a kid again (even if I never saw the movie, it has that 70's or 80's feel to it). I do remember distinctly seeing "Little Darlings" at the theater.

I was just posting this because on Amazon, they want what I consider to be too much for most any movie. It's like $25-$30 for the video, I think. The dealers know that that's the only way to get the movie and take advantage. Actually, I've seen dealers asking for way more for some hard-to-find movies--$50 and up, sometimes as much as over $100. Just greedy.

Yeah, movies from that era, particularly those I've actually seen at the time they were released, trigger a very strong nostalgic response in me when viewed today. And I know what you mean about the video dealers on Amazon. All of that's way too much...for a VHS? Crazy! There's a handful of films that I'd like to see again, but for various reasons they have yet to be released on DVD. And with my luck, I'd buy the VHS tape of a movie I wanted, and it would be eaten by the VCR the first time I put it in the player! It's happened before, but luckily not with a tape I just spent 100 bucks on!

Sorry, I haven't responded in a long time. I have been having problems with this website for about a week for some reason. Anyway, I recorded LD's on dvd and was trying to figure out how to make copies for people since it isn't on dvd yet. I thought I could do it with Windows Media Player but can't seem to do it with that. Would you know how to make copies or maybe you'd know how to make copies with Windows Media Player? Thanks.

Dang, missed it. This is a good movie during the summer.

Meatballs is too.

Well, keep looking at the schedule cause they started playing it months ago and it still pops up from time to time. They'll probably play it again. If you have the feature with your cable service where you can do a title search, do that sometimes and it should tell you when it is going to air and when.
