German DVD
For those who are curious, I just picked it up. You'll need a region-free DVD player to play it in the U.S.
As to the movie itself, it's fully intact with all the original music. However the picture quality is not pristine. I'm guessing the versions recently shown on TCM and other places are much better. The German version hasn't been remastered in any way that I can tell. But hey, it's better than nothing. And while not pristine, it looks fine.
Oh, and the on-screen title is in German. It's called "Kleine Biester." The box also says that. Although it also says "Little Darlings" in small print.
