I'm not sure if it was this movie, but in the early 80's I remember watching a movie that scared the poo out of me. It was an aquatic themed movie, the creatures were (as I remember them...Creature of the Black Lagoonish) and they threw or spit or somehow projected round disks to help kill people...Is that this movie..if not, what is it?
That's the problem...I saw the movie several times, but I was probably around the age of 10 or so...I'm 38 now, so it was 3 decades or more. I remember seeing the creatures around water...I think they were alien, and they used some sort of projectile that had a sucker on it, or a mouth, or maybe just claws? I know that doesn't help...they looked a little like these creatures or they looked like alien. lol...I know..it's a bad description, but I'm pretty well versed in horror cinema and even I can't figure it out.
I'll check around... but a good site that MIGHT help you out... is Nitpickers.com.. thats a site where people talk about movie mistakes.. chat about movies..etc... I used to be on that site long ago and whenever someone didn't know the name of a movie.. they described it like you did.. and within days. you'd get your answer...
Go check it out.. and keep me updated about it, that movie sounds interresting the way you described it..!
Sex is like a game of cards, if you don't have a good partner, you better have a good hand!
Sounds like Without Warning, a grade Z sci fi starring Jack Palance, Martin Landau and a young David Caruso. The alien, if I recall correctly, was played by Kevin Peter Hall, who later went on to play the predator in the first installment of that franchise.
Yup. This is it. Those little suckers in the pictures from the site! I don't know how to thank you stranger, but thanks! I think I got "Without Warning" tangled up with "Humanoids from the Deep" and thought they were the same movie.
( It Came ) Without Warning just had one alien from outer space that did throw these flying fanged creatures on its victims. It had a scene where dead cows were found which alerted police. It wasn't aquatic so I don't think this is that same movie.
