Heaven's Gate Blu-Ray Review

I have been fascinated with this film for a few years now, and I think it's widely underrated and under praised. Check out the review here.....

Heaven's Gate is a great, great movie. Critics completely missed it at the time. I'm looking forward to the Criterion edition. Thanks for the link.

A long time ago this movie was considered trash but I think the guys at Criterion are on to something. I just finished watching it and I absolutely loved it. My mom wondered why I enjoyed it. I have patience for the movies. I also loved The Tree of Life, 2001, Magnolia, and Cloud Atlas.

I enjoyed the opening because of its design and I kinda laughed at John Hurt's and Kris Kristofferson's hair but still I can't believe no Oscar love for the technical merit at least.
