Synapse Films is working on a new DVD of this film, though their edition will be using the Dark Forces title:

Fangoria is reporting that this DVD hits the streets on 10/28/08.
Buy it! It contains comments of the director and the producer where you learn a lot of interesting things, for instance that Mel Gibson auditioned for the part of Gregory Wolf. The video transfert is really well done, I saw it in flat screen and it was awesome, even the creepy special effects look better! Finally a dvd makes justice to this film! However, I would have loved to hear Robert Powell comments also.
