I can agree with that.
After smoking a doobie..
-In my mind, Christopher Reeve will always be Superman.-
No the scariest way to watch this movie would be to watch it at a cemetery one night lol
shareActually, you might be onto something here. Does anyone feel up to the challenge of smoking marijuana and then watching the film? I'm sure the results would be really interesting. (Yes, I am being completely serious.)
shareWish I could.
I work for the county. One day though. Um...how about you?

I don't even know where I could find any in my city, to tell you the truth. I just know the experience would probably be one that wouldn't be forgotten in a hurry.
Hallucinogenics aside, the scariest way to watch this film is at night; alone. To this day, I am terrified of trying it because I know I will not be able to sleep if I do.
Can't find any? You must live in a small town. I love watching this film at night. Haven't been alone though, my other half likes it as well.

Yes, I'm afraid it is a very small town. But, on the other hand I do live very close to a lot of filming locations used for this movie so I really can't complain! 
Perhaps when I'm feeling particularly brave I'll try watching The Changeling at night. But for now, I'm perfectly content to watch it during the day.
That's how I watched it. Alone. In the dark. It's the first movie in years that actually made me yell out in fear twice!
shareYup and everything you would expect to happen happened and then pot doesn't make you dream...I drempt
sharewhilst stoned sat in a wheelchair in the loft
shareI first saw this when I was 10 years old. I was living with my father. He didn't supervise what I watched. I first watched it alone at night. It completely traumatized it. I had it on videodisc so I kept watching it. I stopped taking baths and looking at the floor at night.
Now that I'm older I realize why this film went beyond just scaring me. I was living alone with my father. I didn't consciously think that I was under threat from him but I think subconsciously I did.
Watch it as a child.
