Hieroglyphics
When Jane makes a preliminary examination and translation the glyphs on the Lintel above Kara's tomb, her spoken translation is accurate as per the signs cut into the lintel, only they haven't cleared away enough debris to reveal the whole translation she gives, also, as I observed, she's reading the signs in reverse order lol. I have to assume an Egyptoloogist was consulted for the correct rendering of the warning.
And yet, when they first enter the tomb, and Corbeck says they can't go further without informing Cairo, Jane says at least let's know her name. The only thing she gets right, as per the signs, is Kara's name, the rest of what she relates is not on the column above Kara's image. As they made an effort on get the signs on the Lintel Correct, you would of thought that they could of got the Queen's titles correct in as much that they would accurately reflect what Jane is telling us. There's nothing there that is the name of Osiris at all, which is Wsr in Transliteration, Osiris is in anycase a Greek Rendition of Wsr. The deceased were not Beloved of Osiris but Justified before Osiris, ie, found to be true of heart, which perhaps would be the case for Ka-Ra.
In fact, the term Queen was unknown in Ancient Egypt, the title ' Great Royal Wife ' being more accurate.
Mock up's of a tomb for certain scenes, ie the serdab, show crudely painted signs. But the signs on the Shrine containing the canopic jars are much better rendered and as far as I can tell, they do confirm what Corbeck is saying about a man from the North.
Nit-Picking here, none of this detracts from enjoying the movie :)
Cheers
