Does he smoke pot? He used to act in some pretty eccentric movies so I think he probably did at least.

And if you take offense to this, that's okay. Because this is the internet.

I was kinda curious about that myself. He portrays a convincing hippy experimentation guru in this, but he's also a great actor. So who knows?

He's probably one of those smokers who's not a pothead, but enjoys being in an altered state of mind once in a while. If that is so, then he is probably interested in LSD or other psychadelics.

this film has nothing to do with smoking pot, it's about psychedelics (m. mushrooms)

just watched this for the first time in about 2 decades.

all the guests at the house-party are passing around a joint, but i do not recall Jessup partaking of any when he arrives at the gathering.

perhaps his dedication to psychedelic-drugs differentiated him from his less-maladjusted, more "mellow" friends and fellows. he'd not likely find pot stimulating enough.
