Any advise about buying CITIZEN SMITH ?

Hi,

I've been a Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister fanatic for many years.
Now I've stumbled across offers for Citizen Smith (at hmv and play) - a series I have never heard of before - and would like to know if any Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister fan would like to encourage/discourage me about that series.

If i remember rightly, 'Citizen Smith' came out in about 1976/1977, starring Robert Lindsey, who is currently in 'My Family', as a one man freedom fighter.
He lives with his girlfriend and her parents, and is at constant loggerheads with her dad,('bloody yeti!!!') He is constantly trying to organise schemes to bring 'Freedom to Tooting', but of course they never work!
It was funny in it's day, Robert Lindsey was brilliant in it, but what it looks like nearly 30 years later, i wouldn't like to say. If 'Play' is selling it cheap, then i would say it is definately worth a look.
