Party Games
I just went through the 4 disc "Complete Collection" from NetFlix and was surprised that neither the "Short Episode" or the 1 hour "Party Games" were included. Any idea of which set these are on?

shareWhat's the short episode?
shareApparently there was a short episode that was part of a Christmas special aired on BBC 1 on 27 Dec 1982. The special was called "The Funny Side Of Christmas."
But it's really "Party Games" I'm trying to find on DVD without success.
It was the 60 min. special episode that aired on 17 Dec 1984 and apparently led into the creation of "Yes Prime Minister."
"Party Games" is on the series three dvd. Well it is on the UK editions but I'm can't say anything about other versions.
I've never heard of the short episode before. I think it would be rather fun to find!
Luv Claire!x
Britain's future Prime Minister
I like red things!
It's on my copy of the first DVD of Yes Prime Minister...UK, Region 2.
shareI finally found it and watched it last night. In the US - it's actually on the first DVD of the complete Yes Prime Minister collection (strange - 'cause the episode opening titles still read Yes Minister).
HILARIOUS!
Particularly Sir Humphrey's explanation of the Home Secretary having the unfortunate incident w the lorry full of nuclear waste!
I transcribed the short episode when we were talking about which of Sir Humphrey's quotes were the longest on a different thread, if you want to read it.
shareAh yes, I knew I'd read that quote on here and then was surprised that it wasn't in the episode Party Games. Is it possible that it was an outtake from it?
shareFound the "short episode" as well.
It's on the bonus stuff on the 3rd disc of the US version of the complete "Yes Prime Minister" DVD set.
Don't know why this & "Party Games" are on the "Prime" vs. "Minister" collections, when they are both clearly part of the earlier show.
But glad to have finally seen them!
The Party Games episode was likely on the Prime set because it set up the new series and and was aired / made a few years after the first series ....
