My Favorite...

Episode: The Key (the end when Humphrey is on the ledge)

Joke: "You tell the [French] President to leave that bitch at home." from A Diplomatic Incident.

Running joke: The idea of a "courageous" piece of legislation.

Runner-up: "I don't want a leak inquiry; I want to find out who did it!"

Minor character: Sir Desmond, because he looks like he should be wise but he's a total moron.

I didn't think television could get any better than Falty Towers or Blackadder until I discovered Yes, Minister. Greatest political satire ever!

My favourite was the enviroment one, where they discuss Greek and 'meta'.

I love Yes Minister! It is the best of all British Comedy!!

(and, it came 7th on a BBC comedy poll. YAY!!!)

My favourite episode of Yes Minister is "Skeleton in the Cupboard" and my favourite episode of Yes Prime Minister is "The Key"

Yes Minister rocks - I love it so much I write fanfiction about it! :D

I think all of the 'Minister' shows were great. I mean, what's not to like? But I have to agree after just seeing "Skeleton in the Cupboard", it has to be the funniest one I've seen yet. When Hacker and Bernard suss out who was responsible for the cockup in Scotland, I just about soiled myself, I was laughing so hard! Kudos to everyone involved in that show!

Claire,
Id love to read some ym/ypm fan fiction if you care to share it!

You can find Claire's fanfiction (if she doesn't mind me advertising it) at fanfiction.net under TV Shows, British Comedy, which will hopefully be updated soon! *meaningful glare*. Or go onto LiveJournal and look up Yes Minister and you should find some Yes Minister fan communities with fanfiction(there's even a slash poem on there somewhere!).

Favourite line - 'What about daddy?', or '"I couldn't stop him!"-"Why not?"-"He's bigger than me!"'

Oh thanks for that! I've not been online for a few days and so couldn't seel my own stories! hehe! I promise to have "The Chemical Crisis" finished soon. I've recently become obsessed with another British comedy and have started a story about that! But I haven't neglected the tales and trials of Humphrey, Jim Bernard and my own lovely character Hen!x

Those are my two favorite episodes too. I love those rare moments when Hacker gets the upper hand on Humphrey.

Episode: The Key (the end when Humphrey is on the ledge)

That's an episode of "Yes, Prime Minister" where Jim Hacker places restrictions on who can come and go freely to his office, if I remember correctly. That would have to be one of my favotite episodes of either series.
