Ted Knight was born 1923
Nancy Dussault was born in 1936
Audrey Meadows her mother was born 1922
Actress playing Jackie was born in 1952
Actress playing Sarah was born in 1953

He acted like the MIL was an old battle axe yet she was more his age and looked it. This made Murial's mother only 14 years older. Then they have that baby when Murial was in her mid to late 40s and Henry was 60. Was this really necessary?

Nancy was 16 when Jackie was born and 17 when Sarah was born. Could we not have gotten some more realistic younger actresses?

The kids did a great job so I don't mind them but Andy was really a waste and Nancy was never pregnant IRL!

Ted Knight and Nancy Dusaault were 13 years apart in age and it showed. I'm the show Muriel was 42 when she got pregnant with Andrew and Henry was 52. So she was 17 when she married Henry in that same season they had an episode celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

As far as having younger actors playing the sisters having someone over 18 works better because of the mandatory school hours.

As far as the 25th anniversary? It's TV its the magice number. Everyone is married 25 years even Fred and Ethel Mertz from 1951-1960 they were always married 25 years or something close to that
