Is this the movie where a man is scared/excited about something and in the shadows, he sees Christ's hands? Then the full body comes out of the shadows? I only saw this one scene long ago and have searched... is this what I'm looking for?

There is a scene in The Martian Chronicles when the Priest Father Peregrine sees what he thinks is Jesus, complete with crown of thorns and nail holes in his hands... the scene takes place in a darkend modern church on the planet Mars, and indeed the Jesus character does walk out of the shadows - in fact the character is actually a Martian as at this point in the series everybody percieves the Martian as someone they love.
