The Martian City

I was always intrigued not only by the slightly electronic/weird music used in the city scenes but by the arcitecture of the city itself. Mostly formed of geometric shapes (spheres, cones, blocks, etc).

I always wondered whether this was a huge stage set or an actual location. I have to assume that it's a huge set - as the sphere's look somewhat styrofoam-like (you know those rocks you find in old Star Trek episodes).

To me, it would have been better at the end

(SPOILER)

if the Wilders had gone underground to live, in those passages that Spender mentioned. The above-ground part of the city looks like some sort of park, or an art exhibit, not a place to live. But I guess they didn't have the budget for that.

Argreed idverser when I saw the city part its like where are the homes? So the above areas had to be a park or something.

Yeah humans smell bad that's why the Martians went underground
