Just saw this for the very first time. Raised some questions:
1) What was Buck Greene doing there? He was never friendly with Rick (or any of the others for that matter) He was always an adversary.
2) The episode that aired last night cut out at Rick hesitating. Did that happen in the original airing? Makes no sense to end on a cliffhanger. They knew it was the last episode.
Can anyone answer these?
1. It's been a while but IIRC Magnum had put his past with the Navy behind him and was going back to work in intelligence. I think Buck was there to show the closure between the characters?
2. It was just to cut on a fun note. I believe it did happen at the original ending.
Your recollection is correct on both counts, jekporkins.
1. Also, Buck may have been there for a real-world reason: it was the last scene of the entire series, and just about everyone else was there, so why not Buck?
2. Yes, the episode ends with Rick stammering. Guess we'll never know!
